Counselling sessions

Counselling sessions

If the world often feels too loud, too fast, or built for everyone but you, you are not alone. Here, you can take things at your own pace, ask questions in your own way, and be met with patience, respect, and understanding. Whether you are exploring your story for the first time or looking for a space where you look beyond the mask, this is a space tailored to your pace. Your first step can be small: send a message, book an initial conversation, or simply read more about how counselling or creative sessions work. There is no pressure to have the right words ready. We can start with where you are today and work from there.

Ready to begin? Get in touch to arrange a first conversation and find out whether this support feels right for you.
Supervision for counsellors

Supervision for counsellors

Looking for supervision that supports both your client work and your growth as a practitioner? My approach offers room for thoughtful reflection, creative exploration, and deeper awareness of what may be present in the therapeutic relationship. With options to strengthen your practice, review policies and continue developing both personally and professionally. I have a particular interest in creative and inner child work, and I also offer faith-based (not faith biased) supervision for counsellors and practitioners seeking support with pastoral or spiritual dimensions of their work. Whether you are seeking regular long-term supervision or a one-off creative session, you are welcome to bring your work with openness, curiosity, and care. Get in touch to arrange an initial conversation and explore whether we would be a good fit.

Part 1 of 10 in the new series "Friendship in a throwaway culture". This blog post considers the underestimated role of friendship in emotional health, using a personal story of renewed connection with an old friend. It describes how adult friendships often fade not through conflict, but through the gradual pressures of careers, family responsibilities, and constant busyness. The author argues that friendship provides a rare kind of mutual choosing-support without obligation-and offers grounding through shared context and lived history. Referencing research-informed ideas about belonging, the post encourages readers to prioritise simple, repeatable acts of connection that strengthen wellbeing over time.

An introduction to the new series "Friendship in a throwaway culture". In “Reclaiming Connection in an Age of Disposability”, Angel Army reflects on how modern life trains us to replace what becomes inconvenient-possessions, roles, and increasingly, relationships. The post explores how a disposable mindset can seep into friendship, making it easier to retreat when connection requires patience, repair, or sustained care. It invites readers to reclaim friendship as a practice of presence and commitment, emphasising values like kindness, accountability, and the slow work of rebuilding trust.
